Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Consultant to join their team in North Dartmouth, MA. This is a long-term consulting opportunity expected to last at least one year, supporting a growing, multi-location organization with 15 business units. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on accounting professional who is comfortable managing both day-to-day transactional accounting activities and month-end close responsibilities. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to support a wide range of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash management tasks
  • Prepare and record revenue-related transactions
  • Support month-end close processes
  • Calculate and record payroll accruals
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with general ledger reconciliations and account analysis
  • Collaborate with operational and finance teams across multiple business units
  • Partner with the Regional Controller on accounting and reporting initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Senior Accountant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of month-end close and accrual accounting
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
  • Ability to manage a high volume of transactional accounting work while maintaining accuracy
  • Self-starter with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required
  • Experience working in multi-entity or multi-location environments is a plus
